**** Using the System Registry for validation of Software installations doesn't work for some users who install the software on a network drive. In these cases, their authorized user base can have access to data and features from any computer on the network. In order to answer this need, and to add additional features missing from the registry, I have "reverted" to the previous form of user authentication.
This change should be transparent to you. If you encounter any troubles after installation, first, remove the older version from your system. Then, install the just downloaded version. If the problem persists, then contact me immediately!
**** The program might not properly report the current folder on the splash screen.
**** If an old format catalog is detected, upon program initialization, the catalog will be sorted and the program will exit. Start the C-Master program again to continue working.
**** Log Strips: For the 5" header , if you requested the code and thickness, *and* elevation, then the displayed text would be unintelligible.

**** MAJOR CHANGE IN THE WAY SW IS DISTRIBUTED. You will be provided with a link to a folder on the website that contains a setup file that is tailored to you, specifically. Download that file, and install it to gain access to the new feature (below).
**** When the Main Menu is created, the software checks your version against the latest version available on-line. If you have no Internet connection, no check is made.
If the on-line version is more recent than your version, a menu item will appear ("Update Available").
You can click the menu ("Update Available") to display a box with the version information and a link to your personalized download folder. The first file there will be this version, followed by later versions.
You can click on the "About" menu item and see your current version number.

**** Verified that you can display the elevation of a lithology only for tagged seams. No other annotations can appear if this option is exercised.
To get this, select to annotate with only Bed Codes and also select Display Elevation when presented with header selections.
This will also force the header to be the 5" size.
**** Log Strips: SIGNIFICANT Changes to the user interface for header and options selection.
**** Adjusted the logging software to add time stamps to all non-blank message lines (except from the message functions).
**** CREPAIR: When deleting quadrangles, the quadrangles would still show up in the quick list.
**** CREPAIR, CQUADBLD, new Quad dialog: A simulated EOF record was not properly written to the file to mark the end of the data for the quadrangle catalog.
