Paying for maintenance on Software can feel as if it is not necessary. After all, if the software is working, why pay for maintenance of it?
C-Master will continue to work for you. The software does not “expire” as some other vendors will do. You paid for it up front, it is yours.
All that being said, the true picture is more complex than that. C-Master is constantly being improved and enhanced. By not staying on top of updates, you will miss out on all the advances. There are many changes in C-Master that are driven by user requests. These are provided as part of the normal update processing. Also, work is constantly evolving to make the user experience more robust and intuitive.
However, the choice is yours.
If you decide you wish to resume maintenance on C-Master, here is a statement of the policy for doing so.
- You can choose to resume maintenance within the 30 days following the expiration of your current maintenance at no additional expense.
- For every 30 days (or portion thereof) up to 180 days, the cost of maintenance will increase by 30%. For example, the current cost of maintenance for a single-user is $249.00. 70 days (rounded to 3 months) after your maintenance has expired, you wish to renew your license. The cost would be = 249 + 3*74.70 = $473.10.
- After 180 days, you will purchase a new license.
